Exhibitions: Swindon "City Living" Exhibition
Shoot Nations 'City Living' Exhibition, Swindon 2011
26 March -
Central Library, Regent Circus, Swindon, SN1 1QG
Shoot Nations presents a new exhibition at Swindon Central Library. The exhibition will display a selection of photos from the Shoot Nations 2010 competition, the theme of which was City Living. Young people aged 11-25 from around the world submitted their photographs exploring the theme in a visual context and were asked to consider three briefs on the issues of urbanisation.
Change Community Foundation, Swindon
This exhibition was produced in partnership with CCF, established in 2005 by a group of Africans living in Swindon to provide support and advocacy to the African Communities in the Swindon and Wiltshire areas. CCF initiatives aim to meet the needs of its members by developing and promoting the integration of migrant Africans and other disadvantaged groups into the wider community through equal access to services and opportunities.
